Nicholas Massis, MBA:

Nick has over 25 years of experience in the business and financial industry. He is well versed in all aspects of business operations from start-ups to on-going concerns, and from financial management to human resource management.  Nick holds an MBA in Finance and has worked with companies of all types and sizes. His clients range from the technology sector in Silicon Valley to e-commerce and the legal profession.  He is detail oriented and treats his clients and their businesses as if they were his own. Nick founded The Massis Group, LLC after being approached by several companies wanting to use his services but could not afford to pay a full-time salary. He soon realized that many small-to-mid size business owners are experts in what they do but do not have the time, expertise, or inclination to handle the important tasks of dealing with the accounting and human resource functions that are vital to a company’s success.  His success is predicated on the success of his clients that he supports.

Sal Censoprano, CPA: 

Sal has been in the taxation business since 1979. He holds a Masters Degree in Accounting and Taxation from Adelphi University in New York. He has been practicing accounting in California since 1991. Prior to that, he was a Senior Partner in an accounting firm in Queens, New York. He is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals, and the National Society of Accountants. He is an Accredited Tax Advisor and Professional. He is a frequent lecturer and has written many articles for professional publications.

Naghmeh Yazdan, BS, Accountancy:

Naghmeh received her accounting degree from San Francisco State University where she joined our firm to better her skills. She is articulate, detail oriented and hard working. She is an asset to our organization.

Diane Del Conte, SPHR:

Diane has 20+ years of hands on experience in Human Resources and Benefits.  Before joining The Massis Group, she was the Director of Human Resources for Cost Plus World Market, managing the HR functions for the Corporate Office and overseeing the benefit programs for the entire organization including health care, 401(k), Deferred Compensation and Workers’ Compensation. Diane’s experience and expertise include: designing and drafting new hire and termination procedures, developing leave of absence policies, creating and revising employee handbooks to comply with changing labor laws and establishing internal procedures for efficient benefits administration. She conducts internal audits to help clients address and establish compliance in all areas of HR
